Passover Kosher Gift Baskets
Passover begins at sunset April 19th, 2019
The eight-day festival of Passover is celebrated in the early spring, celebrates the freeing of the Jews from slavery in Egypt. Leavened and fermented grain products are prohibited to commemorate freedom from Egyptian slavery. When the Jews escaped Egypt (led by Moses), they didn't have time to let their breads rise before going into the desert. For seven days, Jews around the world abstain from eating anything leavened to commemorate what the Israelites had to eat after fleeing their oppressors and not having time to bake their bread properly. Jews also reflect on the exodus and freedom from slavery by holding a Passover seder, which simply means "order."
Traditionally, a "Hostess Gift" is brought to the home of the person hosting the seder… a gift basket filled with Kosher For Passover wine, candy, chocolates & goodies are a welcome gift for all to enjoy. These wonderful gift baskets will make anyone's Passover the sweetest ever! Each one beautifully packaged and presented, these are the perfect gifts, and they are all kosher for Passover!
